University College Dublin had invested a lot of time & money in technical improvements on campus over the last 30 years, but needed to focus on its people.In a recent survey, 85% of employees surveyed now perform an energy saving activity at least once a day.

Operation Switch Off has helped change the behaviour of UCD employees to be more energy efficient. Motivated by communication, training and incentives, Operation Switch Off focuses on relevant, regular and results driven communications to staff.

Operation Switch Off is increasing awareness and changing the behaviour of more and more employees in UCD by making energy efficiency a competitive sport.
